Masala Papad: Crispy papad, crunchy yet soft fresh tomatoes, onions, chilies, and fresh cilantro, sprinkled with chaat masala for that extra zing - makes for an awesome appetizer/starter.
Roast Papads either on the stovetop using tongs or in a microwave oven.If using a microwave oven, generally roast time of one minutes enough, flipping through halfway.
Finely chop all the veggies.
When ready to eat, top the roasted papad with chopped tomatoes, onions, cilantro. Sprinkle the salt and chaat masala on top of it, followed by a few drops of lemon juice. Enjoy!
Notes
For ease of eating, try cutting the raw papad in 4 or 8 pieces like pizza, using scissors, before roasting it, that way it is easy to eat a slice of the roasted papad without breaking the whole papad.Add veggies only at the time of eating else it will become soggy.
