Cut it into half with a knife. Remove the seed. Apply lemon juice with a brush.
Peel the avocado. Apply a drop or two of oil to the knife on both sides of the blade.
Cut the avocado into - not so thin, not so thick either - slices.
Gently fan out the slices as shown in the video, arranging it in a straight line, each slice slightly overlapping the other.
Gently fold it into a spiral shape. This will kind of resemble a rose. You may slightly open out the petals by pushing the petals out gently.
Serve it on a salad, smoothie bowl, or a toast and enjoy!

Avocado should be ripe enough but at the same time should be a bit firm.
Applying lemon juice helps make avocado stay green for longer time. If you are going to use only half an avocado, you can put the other half in a cling wrap and keep it in the refrigerator right away. This can stay green for a day or more if lemon juice has been applied.
You don't need a knife or a peeler to peel the avocado.
Applying oil to the knife blade helps the knife slide easily when making slices.
