This Powerhouse of an organic, vegan breakfast on-the-go is packed with richness and goodness of 3 of the Superfoods – Oats, Strawberries, and Almonds, combined with the nutrition packed Milk, and can be ready in less than two minutes! It's truly the Breakfast of the Champions and absolutely loved by kids.
1 ½cupMilk (nut-milk for vegan version, 2% dairy milk for non-vegan version)
Agave nectar / Brown sugar (optional) - to taste
Instructions
Pre-soaking is not required for rolled oats, but if you want, you can soak it in the milk for about an hour before making the smoothie, or can even be done the previous night.
Blend all of the above ingredients in a blender.
If you want some grainier texture, then keep a spoon full of soaked rolled oats aside to add after the smoothie has been blended. You can also add the almonds towards the end so it gives a coarser texture.Enjoy one of the quickest, healthiest, and not to forget, the yummiest breakfast on the go!
