Ingredients
- ½ cup Rolled oats I used organic rolled oats
- 6 Strawberries
- 10 Almonds
- 1 ½ cup Milk (nut-milk for vegan version, 2% dairy milk for non-vegan version)
- Agave nectar / Brown sugar (optional) – to taste
Instructions
- Pre-soaking is not required for rolled oats, but if you want, you can soak it in the milk for about an hour before making the smoothie, or can even be done the previous night.
- Blend all of the above ingredients in a blender.
If you want some grainier texture, then keep a spoon full of soaked rolled oats aside to add after the smoothie has been blended. You can also add the almonds towards the end so it gives a coarser texture.Enjoy one of the quickest, healthiest, and not to forget, the yummiest breakfast on the go!
Notes
- You can adjust the serving size by sliding the servings scale on the recipe card. The ingredient quantity will adjust accordingly.
- Some ingredients have multiple options and you can use one or the other. But for the accurate calculation of nutrition, I have used the following:
- For milk, I have used Almond milk
- For sweetener, I have used Agave nectar
