Who knew fruits and veggies could be so tasty! This is a Green Revolution in a glass. It tastes even better than it looks. Trust me or try it for yourself.
Turmeric root (optional) – 1/2 inch piece. Or you can use 1/4 teaspoon of turmeric powder.
Note: You can use any green vegetables and fruits that you wish. The above ingredients can be replaced with the ones that you may have on hand. A combination of vegetables and fruits will make it delicious.
- Juice the above ingredients in a juicer or using a blender like Vitamix. Juicer gets rid of a lot of fibers etc. I have tried making this using both – a Vitamix as well as an Omega8006 Nutrition Juicer.
If using a blender, peel and chop vegetables, fruits. Put it in a blender jar, add water, salt, pepper and blend it for a couple of minutes. This smoothie will be much thicker compared to if using a juicer.
If using a juicer, run the veggies and fruits twice through the juicer to extract the most juice out of it. Can add water while running it the second time.
